ORA LOEUB, B.SC., CAT(C), D.O. – Clinic Director. Osteopath, Athletic Therapist
Ora Loeub is an Athletic Therapist and Osteopath with a tremendous amount of experience having worked with the Cirque du Soleil for four years and at the National Circus School for nine years. She is the coordinator and head therapist for Questo rhythmic gymnastics club and has organized and managed the therapy program for two world cup events in Montreal. Ora graduated from Concordia University with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science with a Specialization in Athletic Therapy. She also studied at the Collège d’Etudes Ostéopathiques where she defended her thesis, “The effects of a general osteopathic treatment on pregnant women suffering from lumbosacral and/or pelvic girdle pain” and won the Sutherland Award for clinical research. Ora has completed four Postural Restoration Institute (PRI) courses and has integrated this knowledge into her practice. Being a mother of three has given Ora a unique perspective into treating people of all ages.
VANESSA AMAR, M.SC., CAT(C) Athletic Therapist
Vanessa is a Concordia University graduate with a Masters in Exercise Science, specialization Athletic Therapy. She wrote her Master’s thesis on the “Development
of a Fear-Avoidance Scale for Athletes.” Armed with this knowledge, she provides a comprehensive approach to sports injuries with a multifaceted treatment plan for a return to play and work. She has a passion for manual therapy and Active Release Technique (A.R.T). A.R.T. is a soft tissue release technique that activates or releases muscles by breaking down adhesions to restore optimal function. It can be used to treat a variety of musculoskeletal conditions such as strains, sprains, tendonitis, chronic back pain, etc. Vanessa designed a protocol combining manual therapy and exercise for rehabilitating neck injuries and presented it at national and international conferences for her peers. Vanessa has experience working with the general population, recreational athletes and professional athletes (MLS, USSDA, USL-Pro and NHL).
IORDAN KROUCHEV, M.SC., PHT, CSCS. Physiotherapist
Iordan completed his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in physiotherapy at Université de Montréal where he focused his studies on pain science, chronic pain, sport injuries, and trauma. His passion for physical preparation and human movement has led him to seek hundreds of hours of continuing education in the fields of therapy, strength and conditioning, coaching and more. His treatment philosophy acknowledges the emergent and holistic nature of pain and human movement. His assessment is centered on the individual who is in front him and uses a variety of perspectives and objective tests that allow him to focus on the root issue, and not only the symptoms. His intervention is individualized and he uses different tools to keep the person as active as possible while guiding the healing process, to help the person recover from pain and enhance their movement potential.
